Bem-vindo à 44ª Conferência Internacional EPTA sob o tema “PIANO TEACHING AND PERFORMING: RENEWAL AFTER THE PANDEMIC ”. Pela primeira vez, a Conferência Anual da EPTA acontecerá em Portugal. Temos o prazer de recebê-lo em Guimarães, uma das cidades culturais mais importantes de Portugal e uma das cidades mais dinâmicas e animadas do mundo. Planejamos duas Conferências, uma ao vivo no Teatro Jordão e outra em streaming do MAM, para estarem preparadas contra quaisquer restrições de capacidade que possam ser implementadas por razões sanitárias.

Call for Registration
As inscrições para a 43ª Conferência Internacional EPTA ambrem em 1 de janeiro de 2022.
Prices
Participantes / não membros: 180 EUR, reserva antecipada 160 EUR.
Membros da EPTA Espanha: 170 EUR, reserva antecipada 150 EUR.
Palestrante: 160 EUR, reserva antecipada 140 EUR.
Aluno: 90 EUR.
Jantar de Gala 65 EUR, reserva antecipada 60 EUR.
As inscrições são analisadas à medida que são recebidas com um prazo final: 15 de agosto de 2021 às 23h59, horário da Espanha. Os preços de inscrição para reserva antecipada permanecerão em vigor até 31 de maio de 2021 às 23h59, horário da Espanha.
Todos os inscritos poderão acessar gratuitamente todas as conferências do RCSMM além de ter acesso à conferência virtual.

Após uma auspiciosa estreia com a Orquestra Sinfónica, o premiado pianista checo Lukas Vondracek está de regresso à Casa da Música para o seu primeiro recital a solo na cidade do Porto.

Call for proposals
The 2022 EPTA International Conference will take place in Guimarães, under the motto “Piano Teaching and Performing: Renewal after the Pandemic”, starting in the afternoon of Thursday, September 1st, and ending after the morning session of Sunday, 4th of September. After the difficult times that the world has been living due to the global spread of Covid19, the organization hopes that this comprehensive theme will encourage everyone to come in person to this charismatic city that was the first capital of Portugal in the 12th century, and whose exceptionally well-preserved Historic Centre has been classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for its “Outstanding Universal Value”.
The also historic Jordão Theatre will host the Conference, following a complete renovation of its facilities, offering ideal conditions for its realization. Proposals from pianists, pedagogues and researchers will be welcome in the scope of different aspects of piano pedagogy and performance, covering the formats of Lectures, Lecture/recitals, panel discussions or workshops
The Conference programme includes an evening welcome cocktail and concert on Thursday, the 1st, a concert by the Guimarães Orchestra with a piano soloist, and a Conference Dinner and concert. More details about these events will follow soon.

Accomodation/Places to visit
Guimarães is known as the “Cidade Berço” of Portugal. The Historic Center, exemplarily rehabilitated, was distinguished and classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2001. Its cultural and artistic dynamics were recognized with the completion of the event “European Capital City of Culture”, in 2012, boosting tourism and local creativity.
The Jordão Theater is a beautiful historic building that was very recently rehabilitated. The space includes an auditorium with 400 seats and there will be installed the Music School of the Valentim Moreira de Sá Academy (Guimarães Conservatory) and the Performing and Visual Arts course at the University of Minho.
The Jordão Theater is located in the historic center of Guimarães, very close to some important spaces for the city such as Largo do Toural, Largo da Oliveira, Castelo e Guimarães, Paço dos Duques, Vila Flor Cultural Center, Centro Internacional das Arts José de Guimarães, among others, and 20 minutes from the Penha Sanctuary, religious symbol of Guimarães and monument of singular beauty and architectural value.
