7th edition of EPTA Piano Festival & Masterclasses

The event
EPTA Portugal is organizing the seventh edition of the piano festival and masterclasses with professors Luís Pipa (President of EPTA-Portugal) and Murray Mclachlan.
Masterclasses
During a week, from 15th to 22nd of July, the masterclasses will be held in a beautiful guest house, "Quinta da Aldeia", in Ponte de Lima. Participation in the masterclasses includes accommodation and full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
The masterclasses are directed at piano students with ages between 16 and 35 years old.
The number of "active participants" is limited. In case the number is exceeded, the professors will choose the participants based on their curriculum and repertoire presented.
All participants will have free entrance to all the concerts of the Festival.
The students have the possibility of performing in a public concert as part of the Festival Percursos da Música, pending upon teacher's approval.
All participants will receive a course certificate.
Priority will be given to the "active participants" in terms of accommodation, but in case the number is not exceeded, space will be open for the "listeners".

Piano Festival
Throughout the week several performers will be part of the prestigious festival "Percursos da Música" in Ponte de Lima. Luís Pipa and Murray Mclachlan will perform during the festival.
Info and Regulation
The masterclasses will take place at Quinta da Aldeia in Ponte de Lima, Portugal, where the participants may be located during the week.
Masterclasses will be given by pianists Luís Pipa (EPTA Portugal) and Murray Mclachlan (UK).
The students have the possibility of performing in a public concert as part of the Festival Percursos da Música, pending teacher approval.
All participants will receive a course certificate.
Deadline for application is 4th of June, 2023
The number of "active participants" is limited. The participants will be chosen by Luís Pipa and Murray Mclachlan and the criteria for acceptance will be based on the curriculum and repertoire presented. The results will be revealed after the 4th of June. Participants not chosen to play this year may join the masterclasss as listeners.
Note: If the number of places is not fulfilled until the 4th of June the deadline will be extended, but the participants accepted will have to pay an extra fee.
After approval, the application will only be accepted after we receive the transfer receipt (proof of payment) that should be sent to the email eptaportugal@epta-lusa.pt

Accommodation is organized in full-board basis with transport included to the concerts of the Piano Festival.
Priority will be given to the "active participants" in terms of accommodation, but in case the number is not exceeded, space will be open for the "listeners".
Participants application includes:
- minimum of 3 individual piano lessons.
- free entries to all festival concerts
- Participation in the closing concert (pending teacher’s approval)
- Guided tour to Ponte de Lima
- Daily hours of practice
Participant with full-board includes:
- Accomodation at the "Quinta da Aldeia” in a full-board basis, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and transports to the concerts of the Festival.
Observer includes:
- Free entrie to the masterclasses
- Free entrie to all concerts of the Piano Festival
- Lunch
Observer with full-board includes (in case the number of participants is not exceeded):
- Accomodation at the "Quinta da Aldeia” in a full-board basis, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and transports to the concerts of the Festival.
- Free entrie to all concerts of the Piano Festival
- Guided tour to Ponte de Lima
Participants can check-in on the 15th of July at 5pm and should check-out in the morning of 21th of July at 10am.
